VicMusic assists its members to enter and move within the music industry through advocacy, networking, education and training.

VicMusic organizes and promotes special events such as Music Forums, Guest Speakers, Music Festivals, Award Ceremonies, Clinics etc to encourage, support and recognize artists and people contributing to the growth of the music industry.

VicMusic as a representative voice of Victorian music has a structured research and development policy and strives to identify and provide researched Dialogue and Solution to the issues facing the Victorian music industry at large.

Our previous successful initiatives have been the Fair Go 4 Live Music campaign, Noise Restrictions campaign and a new initiative of Responsible Drinking that identifies key factors in culture and social responsibility whilst strengthening the position of music and related industries.

VicMusic is currently working on a Video Documentary of music in Victoria, a multi genre Festival with several separate stages and an Award Ceremony that celebrates artists and music industry in Victoria.
